Progress Report!!
Sup ya bunch of degenerates friendly people degenerates! It's been 30 days since the last update so here's another one for ya!
I'm busy play testing some combat encounters for Marcy's beginning route, and I'm generally satisfied with how it's developing so far! I tried the random encounter thing but somehow forgot that I actually reserve a prodigious amount of contempt for game features like that so I'm going to be trying a few methods for the "pursuing blob" kind of thing. I want to limit the amount of plugins that I use in general, and making an event that chases the player when they get too close is tricky to do without some outside help. I've been considering making the overworld maps with choke points so that I could design designated areas to act as either fights or random events, like rewards or traps or something. I also have the respawning chests working about as well as I'd like, so that's nice!
Overall, Marcy's pre-Sin route is nearly completed. I mostly just need to clean it up a bit and ensure that the newly established mechanics work as intended. Vepar and Gremory's routes have their establishing cutscenes sorted out and that's about it. Progress will pick up for them once I've got the mercenary stuff figured out.
On that note, let's talk about recruiting mercenaries. As it stands, the intent is for the player to explore on their own to build up on gold so they can recruit mercs for boss runs, but that runs the risk of being really grind-y. Instead of hiring them every time you go on an expedition, I'm toying with the idea of making it so you instead make a larger "one time investment" so you can recruit them for free later on. Then again, I like the idea of using something like that for more unique units later on, where recruiting them requires the player to complete some kind of unique objective to have readier access to better mercs.
I also keep forgetting to add more horny stuff to my horny game. I keep forgetting to do something about that.
The horny stuff is mostly tied to the Sin selection, but I also don't want to put it off too much.
That's about it for this update. Not a whole lot of interesting progress to report on. Lots of balancing and art stuff left to do, hopefully I've got something more interesting for next time.

i can't wait to see how will be the next demo,hope you can keep good work but also having some necessary pauses when ya need it
I like the idea of one time payments for recruiting without, or lesser costs for a single run.
While special folks need a favor done for a permanent favor your way.
