It's Coming...
I'm pretty close to wrapping up the play testing phase. The last hitch I've run into is a bit of a doozy, but I'm under the impression that it's the last hurdle before I can finally release this thing.
This episode will be released independently from the first, with its own itchio page and yadda yadda. If I can't get this last hitch all squared away how I'd like to, then I'll just have to cut a bit of end content. Either way, new deadline is this upcoming Saturday (October 5th). Could be sooner, not sure yet.
I don't want to spend too much time venting, but I'm sick of working on this and I just want it posted already. I'm not altogether happy with it, I hate that I spent so much time working on it in place of other things that I've been wanting to do, and I'm just eager to just be done with it.

Sorry to hear you've not enjoyed working on it. Hopefully the feeling is simply due to the trouble you've been having with the project.
There are a lot of contributing factors for my dissatisfaction with it, but the constant bugs have been the biggest. However, I also never intended this to be more than just a short exercise in RPGMMV mechanics and general game design, so to have such a short project take so long with constant mechanical hiccups didn't really help.
Overall, I'd say the final product is okay, I suppose. But I feel it's not nearly good enough to justify the amount of time and energy I've sunk into it.
Thank you for all your dedication to this project up to this point, including the days until release! I definitely appreciate you taking the time to make this the best you can, even after getting gut punched by a wide variety of "fun" issues. Looking forward to this and the next thing you release! And the thing after that, too!
